Front Disc Conversion '72 Duster

-
I used the parts from 73-76 Dart to convert my 66 and it was easy. The m/c, calipers, rotors, and ball joints were available new. The spindles and upper control arms were not hard to find in the junkyard.

somehting to look out for:

my 68 barracuda has 74 dart disk brake setup in the front...but the dart parts don't allow for the sway bar to go back on...does anyone know how I can put the sway bar back on?

what do you mean it doesn't go back on? is it hitting the calipers? if so, move the spindles side to side so the calipers mount to the back. they are symmetrical.

I used MP brakes conversion kit. I came with everything, went in easy, but was $$. It was worth it though and one of the first upgrades I did on my Duster. I just dont trust the glazy drums up front to stop me!!

there doesn't seem to be anywhere for the swaybar to attach to the new set up?

are your LCA's have factory sway bar tabs? if not you need an aftermarket sway bar for a 68 (not a 73-76). I like Firm Feel bars. they install alot cleaner than others. if they do have sway bar tabs, are they inboard of the strut rods? if so that is for a 73-76 sway bar and they go thru the k-frame differently than 68-72.
