You know, I first I thought maybe it was just me. All these penalty's are just infuriating me! Even when it is helps my own team, I get pissed, because I think... "Just play the damn game already". Not to mention, most of these penalty's are just B.S.
Now they can't celebrate at all. They get fined for everything. They aren't allowed to talk about other teams or there own. Yea, and the Packers got fined for wearing the wrong colored shoes! WTF??

These are human beings with feelings (or most of them), not machines that you can program.

I don't know? It all just bothers me, and it seems just to be getting worse. Is this the NFL's desperate attempt go get money?

Yet after all this... Vick is still allowed to play football??

I just have to vent before the big games tomorrow.

Sorry.

Seattle Seahawk’s football practice was delayed nearly two hours yesterday after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field.

Head coach Jim Mora immediately suspended practice while police and federal agents were called in to investigate.

After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance, unknown to the players, was the goal line.

Practice was resumed today after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again anytime soon.

Yea.... Vikings. I have to admit. I jumped ship! LOL!
Once Favre is REALLY done (when he's 101 or so) then I can hate you guys again! :p

I quit watching the NFL games when Neil O'Donnell threw two blatant interceptions to the cowboys in Tempe Arizona.

Tell me that punk was not paid off to make that happen?

Can't wait for Sunday. When Forte goes to bed he puts on his Peterson pajamas!

I'm with Motopsycho. I don't think I've ever seen a football game in it's entirety. Am I missing anything?

Those guys get paid extremely well for scoring points, isn`t that what they`re supposed to do? Why do they have to beat their own chests when they do? With all of the celebrating and props there was it starting to look like the WWF or something. I`m glad they started fining people for some of the antics that were going on, perhaps a little dignity can be put back in the game. If there was anything I think they should change it`s the use of instant replay. If something is questionable about a play that can be made right by using instant replay then they should use it, regardless if the call was challengeable or not.

Well, I don't know. I think the the "celebrating" makes it more interesting, or creative. I mean if a team is winning 102-0, well o.k. then they are just plain being dicks. I mean, these are young guys having fun. I don't mind the entertainment. The main thing is, to play the game, not having ref delaying the game for this that and the other thing. They are grown men getting paid a lot of money. Let them beat the Hell out of each other. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen! Oh, and leave your 10 million dollar check at the door.

Well, they had to gain control of things again because if they hadn`t before long they`d be setting up ladders to block field goals. :D

If they REALLY wanted control of things, people like Vick would no longer be in the NFL.

Here's the deal. The guy's with class never did a dance in the end zone. They new that they scored with the help of the entire team. All this look at me and what I did is just a bunch of classless wannabe's.

That could be said for any professional sport, I agree that it just brings more excitement to the game, but it needs to be done with taste.
There is always a few that take it too far.

I still watch football :cheers:because it's a team sport 8) the couching staff to the center or defense, I remember the crazy celebrations in the end zone and some time the hole team would end up in the end zone doing a shake down against the hole home team :bootysha: Like the Cowboys lining up and getting shot down and acting like children, and worse :bootysha: Yep They needed to get control of it before it got worse.......
I enjoy a good game...

Go Razor Backs hehe!! Remember this collage game 7 over times

I enjoy watching the game, but the showboating after every play is totally over the top ( Look at me, I tackled the dude ! ) .
[ That's what you get paid to do... MORON.]

All of that said, one of my favorite celebrations of all time, was Terrell Owens as a 49er, catching a TD pass and pulling a sharpie out of his sock, autographing the ball, and immidiately presenting it to a fan in the stands. That really showed some creativity... and got him a hefty fine. Fortunately, I have a DVR, and can zip through all the replays, & holding penaltys, and my limited viewing time is reduced to a manageable block.
GO SAINTS !

Football is as American as Grandmas apple pie. The wifes team is the Colts but i like to watch em all. I like it when Brett smokes the Packers especially in Green Bay. Kinda like a slap in the face. Myself i favor the Cardinals. Kurt Warner is a good man and i do like to see good people win. I've been to one pro game in KC and had really good seats as my cous has season tickets but you can see way more at home on the tube. We do that red zone channel so we can see all the important stuff on every game. Did i mention i like football? It's like there are 3 football seasons. Pre season, regular season, and then the playoffs. Now on the subject of the Jimmy Johnson sport. I dropped that crap when they got away from "Stock Cars". Race on Sunday, Sell on Monday. Never again.
Go Cardinals.
