73 Duster. Slant six, auto factory a/c

Dam looks like a great project car.

When you get a car like that for that kind of money the feild is open to whatever you want to do to her!!

wow i wish there were mopars like that around here for 650 dollars! grab that thing!

And it just so happens that I have the front end pieces you need. Somebody swapped a '73 Duster front end on my '72 Scamp after they hit a deer, so now I have a '73 Duster front end (hood, bumper, bumper brackets, grille support, grille) sitting around waiting to leave.

The grille is not from a 73. Looks to be a 75-76. Looks like a solid car.

definitely had a the 75 grill and front bumper, and it has the lunch bumper on the back which is 74+. looks like a great buy.

Not a 73. 73's didnt come with the impact bumpers. 74-76 did. But it has a 75-76 grille in it so i'd say its a 75-76

Looks like a trip to go look at it and get some pictures and build tag numbers Creed, It will be a good day for the ol man to get out and look and talk to the man about this duster.
We have a warmed up 360 ready for it =P~ In my old 1/8 mile truck :read2:
I will get out and go look at it at noon son.

I figure if I can get this duster home creed can get my shop built faster :toothy10:

He told me about this a couple days ago, But I was busy thinking about getting my pool shooting skills up 8)

I wish you guys were closer because me and C_Stripes have a good 74 front clip that I would give you. Shipping would be a killer.

Ok :happy10:I am back and it is a slut duster a/c half roof vinyl top 225 / one barrel
Manual disk brakes
Now to decode this tag ? All looks like a 73 74 duster to me
Fancy front grill
Real nice glass and glass trim and the wheel well trim is even nice.
Creed is looking at doing a street strip role bar car out of it

Can some one decode the fender tag ?

Sorry Memike I can't help with the fender tag. It looks like quite a bit of work to me. What happened to the dash. Did it take a shot on the passenger side? Swiss cheese quarter and possible frame damage? What do the floor pans look like?

here is more pictures of the under side, All the tail light's say 73, It looks like a mizer duster
The dash may have got hit and hit hard when the car was wrecked Badart.

I agree, allot of work to get the slant out and everything to try and put it back on the street, But he is thinking drag racing a bit with frame connecters
here is the bad, No gas tank and rust that needs attention
The floors are there but could be soft so it would need floor panes

The lower body is good and who knows if the trans and motor is good, If the block has not froze I bet the / would run again But who knows.

Looks like some one drug it out of a mud hole

This could be a 73 with a /6 grill. I have seen MoPar do things like this
Can the fender tag tell us the year ?

with the big bumpers and large bolt patter single piston disc brakes, i would say its a 75. still a cool car.

Here is what the fender tag is telling me:

V
L Low line 2 door coupe (stripper Duster).
2
9

C 225 slant six
5 1975 model year
B Hamtramck assembly plant

If nothing else, it would almost be worth it for the BBP discs and rear end for Victoria. Don't see this one being much more than a tube frame drag racer with all the rust in the underside. Looks like it sat in one place for so long it sunk into the ground.

I have to agree.

So help me god that is what I told him not 20 minutes ago on the phone

I figure if I had a place for it I would give him $250 :happy10:
If the / is good I would be tickled to hear it run and have a 74 225 setting
Heck the radiator and shroud and fire wall parts has not been mest with.

I say part it out

I wonder

yeah i could see the possibility of some one swapping in a 75-6 grill and bumper at some point, but to add the rear crash bumper. NOT! some people are just plain spoiled. we have to deal with some serious rust buckets here in nj, and for more money than that. the car has big bolt disks and looks like an 8 1/4. buy it. trunk floor? most guys chop them out and make a nice flat floor with a cell in the trunk for hot rods anyway.
