My latest project was to pull the slant/trans out of my 65,and clean it up.
I built a blue printed, ported, shaved (.90) big valve head for it. 340 valve springs, with a Erson cam. Compression is at 9.23. Clifford intake/headers,Ede 500cfm carb. Pertronix and a Blaster coil will light it off. It was a fun car to drive before, should be even more fun now. Heres some pics.

Thanks Mike !!!
I had this engine on the dyno before. It was stock other than the headers and 4bbl. Max power was 135.39,with 209.95 ft-lbs.
Like you said, should be a whole new monster.8)

Great job! I noted some letters or marks on your head between the valve cover and intake/exhaust flange. Could you share what is there? I have one with a star, one with numbers and one with 3 screw heads. All are old castings 2206035-1 and 2208086-4. Any idea what your head number is?
