I am not satisfied with qa1, dont waste ur money, u see the steering alignment issue, and the idler arm bracket is about 3/8in to big. Leaving you to stack washers or shims to take up the space. Oh and the shim must go on the bottom, or the inner left side tie rod will hit the tortion bar

How does your steering box mount? Mine doesnt align straight with column. Its a 68 cuda

Is anyone using a qa1 tube k member on a 67-69 barracuda? Does your gear box sit crooked? I dont remember my factory v8 k frame positioning it like this.

I feel ur pain, i have 68 barracuda, with an 85 model 318, (car was original 318) QA1 k mem, my manual steering box hits the heat shield on the exhaust and now wont turn at all, stock k meem works fine,

Swapped factory k for a QA1 k now the steering gear box (where the column shaft enters the gearbox) is hitting the manifold heat shield and wont turn. Anyone else have/had this problem? Is there a thicker motor mount i can use to set the engine about 1/2" higher? 85 318 is from a new yorker ...

Ive looked around, with not much luck! Just curious why the auto trans from the charger, is more difficult to make work in older cars, than the truck trans. If i have a complete car for parts, 5.7, trans, computer, rear end! Just a quik/short answer will be fine. Thx

Looking for pics or info on the FACTORY/ORIGINAL spare tire size and what rim it was, for a 68 barracuda with 14" wheels. My 225/70- 14 will not fit in the wheel hole. Lol Thx

my VIN number and build sheet VIN number match as far as order number should the fender tag order number match as well? Vin and build sheet vin ends with 131959 and fender tag ends with 191173 .
