    budget duster.

I like the look, cool driver. Think twice about the fender well headers, they will rub the tires. TTI makes under chassis that fit well, I have had both.

Wow, that looks a lot like mine, steel wheels and all, nice! I could never get the dual carbs right, I have better throttle response with the single holly

After that car was gone I got the GTX that I posted, and unlike the barracuda, I kept it. Back then I had no concept of "original", only speed. Although the GTX is in great shape, 0 rust, good chrome and grill, I threw away anything that I could to cut weight, including inboard bumper brackets...

I dont know the serial number, but after picking up the car at the dealer,I cut holes in the fender wells for fender well headers, when I traded it in one year later, the dealer did a patch job on the fender wells, that would be visible. I raced that car in C class automatic, it was not "legal"...

I keep meaning to do that, even though the barracuda is done and I haven't had much of a chance to drive it, I keep thinking of changing the motor and putting in a hemi. I have a 1967 gtx that I had in college in 1970 [24,000 miles] in a barn gathering dust that could use the 440 in

Thanks, in between these projects I took a 1954 chevy truck, added a jeep wagoneer dana front axle and a cast iron transfer case and made a stock looking 4wd, painted matte black and green. I dare not post pictures on a mopar board!

Rear tires on the flat black barracuda are 325/50/r15,the wheel wells are moved to the frame rails, an they fit nice. Moving the wheel wells make it necessary to also modify the sail panels.Me,king of the road in 1970, wonder where that car is now

It goes further than that, I not only removed the side markers, antenna, and s emblems, I changed the front end to a 69. I had a 69 when I was younger and have good memories. Since it is now a 440, I dont care if it is original.

My barracuda is all but done, as it is below 0 I need to wait for better weather to work out the road test bugs, the matte black turned out great although I am not sure how to maintain it Maybe some one can help me with a few last details, I cannot find the trim that covers the body pinch weld...
