Cragar P/N is A-09005-4--they can be ordered from Cragar or found on e-bay. The early A-Body lug nuts are different and will not interchange with later small bolt circle lug nuts.
NEED TWO OR MORE EARLY STYLE CRAGAR LUG NUTS-7/16 X 20--0.590 DIAMETER-- SHANK--LENGTH 0.700/.800--HEAD SIZE 11/16 ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. LOCATED IN BOISE, IDAHO. USED OK--WHATEVER YOU HAVE.
I have a set of early Cragar 15 inch wheels on my 67 Valiant. They take 7/16 X 20 lug nuts. However the early Cragars take the narrow shank lug nut and the newer Cragar Lug Nuts 7/16 X 20 lug nuts will not work (shank too big along with the washer) Does any one have 2 or more RH thread early...
Located in Boise, Idaho---I have 3 Slant Six 4 Speed Bellhousings with flywheel, pressure plate and disc--all are used but serviceable. The Bell housings are the later aluminum type with the large collar opening-----$200 for each set. I have one of these in my 62 Lancer with an early trunion...
Here's my 62 Lancer--I have owned it since 1984----blueprinted .30 over 225 with cam-roller timing chain--.100 off the head--Offy manifold-390 no choke holley--electronic ign and regulator---early 4 spd---origional 14 X 7 chrome rims (1984)--clifford headers w/2in pipes and flowmasters. NOT FOR...
After many years--the new blue printed slant six has a new home---.030 over balanced--decked--head shaved--roller timing chain--390 Holly--headers with flowmaster 40's---runs better than 2 170's put together. Early 4 speed-close ratio--9 spring pressure plate--HD clutch. Fun to drive!
All the points you buy are now made in CHINA---the rubbing block wears out rapidly--make sure you put some cam lube on the back side of the cam on the points--this will make them last longer.
I could really use some help here. Putting my "built" slant six in my 62 Lancer with an early 833 4 speed. I need a spacer ring to center the trans mission in the later bellhousing (big hole OD). I know someone makes this spacer, but can't figure out who what where. Can anyone help me out...
That would sure make one sweet ride for someone--hope it stays in the Boise area so we can keeptrack of it. Keep me posted. I sent your post to Kevin--see if you get a hit?
Yup, that is one sweet deal. Too bad it can't stay in your family. I have never seen one around here either. Looks rust free to me. Whats up with the 340?
