Thanks Carl. I’ve taken this car to three shows. Two people knew what it is. One guy thought it was a mustang! Very few of these around. Want to keep it as stock as I can. I should have taken measurements before I started the restoration. I just kinda revel in the fact that it’s my first new car. .

I found a machinist locally who made me a very nice 5” water pump pulley which has increased my fan speed to the factory recommended 1.3:1 water pump pulley to cam shaft pulley ratio. I know this is ancient history, but what kind of “plastic bottle” rig did you set up? I want to add one to my 71 demon. The radiator overflow tube goes towards the driver side, where the battery is also installed so there is little space. Thanks Al Graham.

i am having cooling issues at low speeds/idle and am looking for a 5” water pump pulley. Where did you get a 51/4” pulley? The shop manual for my 71 318 and a/c calls for a fan to crankshaft pulley ratio of 1.3:1. My current set up gives me a .92:1. I want to leave the crankshaft pulley alone so...

It overheated the same but lower temps. I replaced the radiator and added an NOS fan shroud. That was four years ago. I’ve hardly run the car since. These numbers are at least 20 degrees higher. I am going to measure the fan tomorrow, but it is a more stout fan than the original. When you say...
