Found this thread while trying to reassemble glove box door on a ‘71 demon. I can easily assemble the latch on the bench, but trying to figure how get it all together on the door without breaking the bezel(circled). Any thoughts? Found your thread while searching. Thanks, al

I tend to agree. Besides, in ‘71 and ‘72, who thought there would be any of these things left in 50+ years.

Thanks Carl. I’ve taken this car to three shows. Two people knew what it is. One guy thought it was a mustang! Very few of these around. Want to keep it as stock as I can. I should have taken measurements before I started the restoration. I just kinda revel in the fact that it’s my first new car. .

I started studying these pictures to place my emblems and do not see a legend to decipher the numbers on the fender nor tail panel drawings. I don’t have the body stripes but need to determine placement for fenders and tail panel. It is not a 340 car. On the pictures you have, did you see...

overheating issue resolved. I found a machinist locally who made me a very nice 5” water pump pulley which has increased my fan speed to the factory recommended 1.3:1 water pump pulley to cam shaft pulley ratio. I know this is ancient history, but what kind of “plastic bottle” rig did you set up? I want to add one to my 71 demon. The radiator overflow tube goes towards the driver side, where the battery is also installed so there is little space. Thanks Al Graham.

i am having cooling issues at low speeds/idle and am looking for a 5” water pump pulley. Where did you get a 51/4” pulley? The shop manual for my 71 318 and a/c calls for a fan to crankshaft pulley ratio of 1.3:1. My current set up gives me a .92:1. I want to leave the crankshaft pulley alone so...
