    fuel pressure? for the racers...

Holley red pumps are designed for 7psi and do not typically need to be regulated, where the blue pumps are 12 psi and need to be regulated before you catch fire under the hood.

    fuel pressure? for the racers...

That was pretty much what I was getting at, replace the regulator with something other than a holley regulator, I had similar problem when I ran them and everything was great once I ditched the holley regulator(even brand new ones) and went with a little more expensive aeromotive style. I will...

    9.536 @ 137.77 new best!!!

Debutedt the car this weekend at the Chrysler Classic in Columbus Ohio this weekend. After getting the converter sorted and replacing a bad MSD 2 step I set a new best in my car of 9.536. Pretty significant considering my previous best at this track was a 9.63. I had run quicker at other...

Updated pics of chassis work and Engine update****

If you are asking about the heads, they are still usable but it appears as though the rockers were not clearanced enough to not hit the the spring retainer and it has taken out the valve guides. There would be a lot of repair necessary with welding to press new guides in and not leak. At this...

Need help w/gear and slick size on a 402 Duster

I will assume you have a big bolt pattern axel, but my suggestion if it is a street/strip car would be to go with a 3.55 gear and a 26" tall tire, for your combo it would do really well with a 235/60/15 BFG drag radial and that ratio, should be able to dead hook on grease. I used to run 11.50's...

Updated pics of chassis work and Engine update****

Spent last weekend at the BGR camp working on the race car a little bit. We also discussed what we will be doing with my engine since the old short block is in need of either being taken .040 over and getting new pistons or making another change. We decided that we would like to get another 360...

My car has a new stance. What ya think?

Thanks guys, cars old setup with ladder bars was fine for a mid 10 second car, but as soon as this new little engine started hitting a little harder it just was not meant to go 9.50's. One time you launch will be straight, next time hard left, next time to the right, sometimes would yank tires...

    flasher location ?

Yup, you can find the turn signal flasher just to the right side of the ash tray, ought to be able to reach up under there and feel it, really don't even need to bend under there.

    Chrysler turning around!

I too am upset by the lack of support for American automakers, but only for the reason that we need to support and stimulate our economy in any way possible right now. Having been a mechanic for the last 12 years I can assure you that American cars are not perfect, but they are far from...

    Over 100 mph

Let that be a lesson to you. Make sure you go over 100 mph on a more frequent basis to prevent that build up in the first place. lol8)

    heli-coil

If you are able to tighten what you have even with 4 threads it is okay to leave as is. If you are not confident with that many threads then install a heli coil yourself, in aluminum it will be a piece of cake, you already have a guide hole there to keep it straight. No need to give someone...
