If you're doing a race car. But if its a street driven car, a motor plate is not the best option.
I'd go for the Schumacher kit. But I'm biased, being that My dad and I are good friends with Micheal.
I love my kit, fits just perfect.
I agree with the other guys...
I almost bought a 68 273 dart a few months ago that I was going to daily drive. If i had more time I wouldve been all over it, but I was starting school in 3 weeks and it needed work.
I did get it to run, but it had low compression.. I'd love to find myself...
Still got some parts for sale...
11" rear dumbs w/ e-brake assembly and backing plates,
Certified speedo
Alternator and amp gauge
PM me if you're interested. Parts are for sale locally in North Seattle
The guy I use is in Everett. He is priced fairly and he does very excellent work. He's done all the exhaust bending and welding on my Dart.
It's called "Pro Muffler and Brakes"
How'd the trip go? I defiantly love the area AROUND Seattle, the city itself not too much..
So...
I have an 11 second street Dart that I drive all the time. It had the 440 in it last year going low - mid 12s, and I was 17 driving it then. I'm 19 now.
Some people (mostly younger people ) don't understand the power a car has. It only takes one mess up and everything is done. BUT some...
Heres ours..
Not too big. I plan on getting a snap on Classic box within a couple years (that'll be for work).
My box is the black one with the red portable on top. The other red boxes my dad has had forever. Theres a smaller one in the corner you cant see that hes had since he was in his teens.
