I made a short video of the Illumin8s flashback turn signals on my 68 Dart. I've got them on a switch so I can turn off the daytime running lights if I want. I really like the look.

Is there a bearing on the bottom of the steering column?

I'm kind of leaning towards a 1" lowering block and then hoping the springs will settle a little. It looks better when you are seeing it from a higher vantage point. The wheels look tucked up into the wheel well more. I don't like lowering blocks but a 1" block might not be the end of the world.

The last few month have been "1 step forward and 2 steps back". I filled the radiator with water in preparation to start the engine. Almost as soon as I started pouring the water in, it started leaking out. I messed up when I cut the lower rad hose to fit and it was leaking at the water pump...

I read some posts that said a sway bar should be level to be most effective. So that's what I was trying to do but it doesn't look like this setup allows that.

I found a couple pictures online that show the bar running uphill even at stock ride height. Maybe that is just how the earlier setup is?

OK, I've got another issue to work through as I get closer to finishing up my 68 Dart. I'm using the 68 style K-member, front mount sway bar and LCAs. With the front end lowered to the ride height I want, the sway bar is pointing way up in the air. Orienting the bar level would put it below...

The bolt head and the perch hole are tapered. The bolt head basically sits flush with the side of the perch. When bolted to the body, the perch is against the frame. I can post a picture of it once it's off. I'm leaning towards just drilling a hole through the frame. All it needs is a hole...

Here is how it is right now. From the center of the axle to the quarter panel lip is about 10-1/2".

I thought about that. My father-in-law has a lathe but doesn't have the broaching tool to do it. I guess I could tack weld the bolt head to the spring hanger. That would hold it in place.
