Thanks Volaredon, appreciate all the info. I never fully got that tank in the truck going, something else is going on, I think the gauge cluster is bad as well. Let me ask you this while I got you, I have another dodge truck and I bought it without drivetrain. It was a 6/four speed, I'd like...

    1974 318 choke question

This might sound dumb but can you point me in the direction where i might buy a standard choke without electric for this motor? and possibly a picture. You have to understand I got this as a project so i am not sure what to look for. Will the earlier choke fit into the 74 318 manifold where the...

    1974 318 choke question

I recently installed a 1974 318 from a scamp into my 65 coronet. It was a drop in instillation and went wonderful, motor runs great. Here's my question, the 74 motor has what looks to be an electric choke, at least there's a rod that drops into the intake right next to the carb, it has a...

    318/360 production info

I'm tossing around the idea of replacing the 273 in my car with either a 318 or 360. This will be a bone stock motor as I'm looking for dependability. My question is what year casting should I be looking for? Some sites tell me the L.A. motor was made from 67-76 others tell me something...

    273 transmission bushing

I've been told that the original transmission will not mate up to a 360 without a reducer bushing, Do you know where I can get this bushing? Thanks.

    273 motor question

This is a two part question to my first email. So if the 273 motor is smoked and I'm not really sure about the transmission in the car would I be better ahead to bolt in a 318 with the matching transmission instead? and if so what modifications will be necessary to do this? it's going into a 65...

    273 engine

Thanks for the advice, I'm trying to keep it stock so the horsepower isn't an important thing. I definitely would like reliability with this one. To be able to drive wherever I wanted to go without problems. So then with that said, the 318 would be a much easier install than the other two? and...

    273 engine

I bought a 65 with a 273 engine in it, the engine is done, my question is can I put any 318,340 or 360 engine in it's place? I'd like to bolt replacement engine to current transmission. Thanks, Dan.

    225 radiator shroud

Well, after changing out the radiator to an aluminum 2 core a/c type the problems are solved!!!! I cant get that little monstor to come up over 180 if its life depended on it. Guess I didn't need the shroud after all. Thanks all!!!

    225 radiator shroud

that what would make it heat up over time? it usually takes about two hours but it will climb to the hot area of the factory guage. I'm thinking the radiator might be partially plugged and it just climbs after while of constant running. I'm going to install a mechaincal aftermarket heat guage as...
