As far as I know it is a 76. Casting number is 4008730.

A TQ works best because it doesn't need an adapter or because will work best for my application? I just want some more power specially off the line. Still not sure what are the differences between square and spread bore carbs torque wise.

MP268/272 has almost the same specs as summit 1789, but they say that is for a 9:1 or higher compression engine. Why is that?

I see different opinions about this. The true is I don't have the experiencie to make my own thoughts if a port mismatch will actually affect performance. I have a pretty stock low compression 318 so I guess it won't feel the port thing. Can you pm me with pictures and price for that intake?
