I used the transdapt filter relocation kit on my 360. It keeps the filter up and out of the way of the header. It's mounted to the rear of the passenger side inner fender. I can use whatever filter I want now.
My cars seem to like 200-220 in the summer heat. I have a 180 Tstat and both say in that range. It used to make me nervous but it's been that way for years. Never really hints on overheating. 65 Belvedere wagon with a mild 360 and a 67 Fury wagon with a stock 318.

Fenders and doors are painted, buffed and mounted. Installed the steering so we get get the car on a ramp truck to bring it home. I will be handling most of the reassembly myself.
Stay the F away from Unlimited. I got a 68/69 Dart SS Hemi hood from them years ago and it was a complete POS. It took a lot and I mean A LOT of work to straighten it out.

All painted and ready for the next steps. I installed the torsion bars and I'll spend this Saturday torquing down the suspension and lube job. Then we roll it out of the garage so the feders, doors and trunk can get painted.
