    Which Shocks for SS Springs?

    The CE C2730 shows an extended length of 23.62” , compressed 14.15” The CE C2735 shows an extended length of 24.50” and compressed 14.5” From what I’ve read we want something close to 25” extended, for SS leafs, correct?

    Got it. I appreciate the input. Just watched a TF2 install video also. After 2 days in the rocky, dirt doing the shifter, I’ll let this go until I get motivated for more of the same.

    So nothing with band adjustment that could be done before the shift kit goes in? The kit and directions are still in the Jegs box. I’ll look for a TF2 video first. Transmission work is new for me.

    thermostat gasket leaking

    Mine leaks a tiny bit with a new china gap, new housing, and blue felpro. No sealant. Doesn’t bother me much, I have things higher on the to do list like the heater core that started to leak a little, but I’ll get to it. I’ll try a little sealant on both sides and see if that does it.

    Maybe I got lucky. Part of my strategy was not moving the car at all so realigning would be optimal, and using the same chain position. I used some muscle and once those 2 pins started to find there holes it was all over.
