Which Shocks for SS Springs?

If you still have the 002 spring on the passenger's side, that's incorrect. Odd numbers on the passenger's side, even numbers on the driver's side.

Rusty, the Mopar Chassis manual says the 002 spring goes on the right side, 003 goes on the left side. So 002 goes on the passenger side, correct?

Summit, Mancini and "everybody else" says the opposite. I think that's right, too but I'll tell you how you can tell for sure. Look at the part numbers on your tail light lenses. Whichever is the even and odd is on the appropriate side. That's how they did everything that was side specific.

Pretty sure both side tail light lenses are the same on '72's like mine

Aight den. The tail light housings on Vixen are even number driver's side and odd number passenger's side. So yall are right. No doubt that everything else that's asymmetrical, such as leaf sprAngs.

Did you lower them? Mines raked pretty good with the SS springs
At one time I did have a 1 inch lowering block in there, but removed it for over-the-road clearance. The handling difference was slightly noticeable, but the added ground clearance for the road conditions these days was worth it.

You can use two of the driver's side springs if you prefer lower too. The tires pictured are 275/60-15's on an 8 inch rim. That's about as large as I can go without doing the inner fender wells.

I run the front at the stock ride height using 1.06" torsion bars, but did have to add tubular upper control arms and an adjustable lower strut rod to get more positive caster. The car is very stable and balanced set-up like this.
