No air movement veh stopped, air off. Air ( ambient) movement from ducts begins with veh forward motion, ac turned off.. almost like fresh air recirc system used to be.

At least older Fords had an aluminum plate under carb with EGR attached. You could either clean or replace plate. On the 318, and others, there's a multi port temp dependant sensor attached to radiator that routes vacuum to EGR. All that stuff on my car is no longer functioning. Thankfully we...

Absolutely right. Unfortunately my intake is carboned up. EGR seized. Only solution I see is to remove, clean and /or replace intake manifold. I'm trying to find an intake without EGR plumbing. For the Carter 2bbl.

I wish I'd known about the Sanden compressor before replacing the RV2. Going to retime the engine and reset carb idle and balance. I believe timing is too advanced. These 318 engines run better at 6-8 btdc. This one may be above 10. Go back to basics...
