I stock over 500+ one-piece lug nuts at my shop for this very reason. The shop is trying to do you a favor by telling customers this, so if you are on the road, and have a flat, you might not be able to get the lugs/wheel off. They are not trying to "rip" you off

I am looking for one of the new, correct tooling (no '67 strap indent running side to side) 521 Restoration A Body 4 vent gas tanks. They have sold out of them (still do have a few 1 vent tanks). Originally, they sold for 199.00. I would pay 800.00 for one. Must be unused and in box. Let me know...

Agree 100%. My 4 Demon are in a trust going to my 4 top/long time techs. They know they are getting one once I'm gone, they just don't know which one :)

Is this the one where the owner said Larry had the GSD folder for the car, but didn't want to pay 1000.00 for it? Why wouldn't you pay 1000.00 dollars for documents for this practical car that would add thousands to the value?? Hummm

I was. First it was for sale and then not. Current owner is building a shop to restore it in is the story I got. After seeing pictures and video, I'm glad I didn't. Yes, everything can be saved,but man, that thing is rough. And the "paperwork" ..... I guess I'll be content with my current Demons :)

Eric-Eric W talked to a guy that came to his house last month to look at some parts, and he told Eric he restored the purple car. I'll let him tell you the rest of the story.

The owner claims it's in the '"registry" which is basically listed above by Eric. But you never know. Like Eric said, paperwork would have to surface to prove what it is. There appears to be nothing left of the car. Heard it has been sitting there since 1978. I'm sure the floor pans and frame...
