Eric Walker has an interesting story about this car. I'm sure he will share it will you next weekend. On another note,I'm not sure if anybody has contacted you about our '71 GSS owners get together at MCACN. There will be 5-6 owners meeting up.

Hey Jim. Yeah, Eric, me and Mark were all discussing getting all the GSS cars together in one place. MCACN 2026. maybe, have to sell Bob on it. I will be at MCACN on Sat. The low mile yellow one wont be there after all

The purple one, we need to find the current owner and try to get him on board. All other owners are known and can be reached.

This is exciting Eric. I might have to make it back to the show for this one.

What about the red one in the woods down south? It's got trees growing around it and looks pretty much complete. I saw a video of it on FB somewhere a few days ago.

I saw a video also. All of the ones I mentioned are funky documented as GSS cars. The red one in the woods would need the same. Remember Grand Spaulding Dodge was the largest Dodge dealer in the country. It may have been just sold at the dealership to get the sticker. Time will tell

The owner claims it's in the '"registry" which is basically listed above by Eric. But you never know. Like Eric said, paperwork would have to surface to prove what it is. There appears to be nothing left of the car. Heard it has been sitting there since 1978. I'm sure the floor pans and frame rails are mint :)

The FB guy Paul is supposed to send the owner Walkers info as he supposedly had documents. We will see

Is it no longer in the Bill Sefton collection? The website is as recent as 2020. The Barrett Jackson link lists it sold in 2013. The red vette ranch (Bill Sefton) collection has a bunch of gss cars.
I dont think it is only because our buddy who has 30 years of research doesnt know who has it. And he knows Bill. Bill should be at MCACN this weekend. May be able to talk to him

Eric-Eric W talked to a guy that came to his house last month to look at some parts, and he told Eric he restored the purple car. I'll let him tell you the rest of the story.

Because I’m interested now, I sent a contact email to the RVR collection. I’ll let you know if I get a response.

Thanks Jim. I will pester him for the story this weekend. We talk often, just hadn't mentioned that part.

So, what about the FB woods find car. I heard you were chasing info on that one??

I was. First it was for sale and then not. Current owner is building a shop to restore it in is the story I got. After seeing pictures and video, I'm glad I didn't. Yes, everything can be saved, but man, that thing is rough. And the "paperwork" ..... I guess I'll be content with my current Demons :)
