is this the fuel gauge wire that is supposed to attach to the sending unit?

what rear end is that in the picture?

My passenger side tail light isnt seating properly against the rear of the car, causing a 1/4 inch gap and allowing water to get into the trunk. the driver side is fine, what gives? I will post pics later. Anyone else have a problem like this?

So I got around to installing my wiper arm linakge, and as you can see the linkage is larger than the wiper mount on the motor....what am i missing?

Interested in door hinges, drivers and passenger side....

Sorry, I reread my last post and realized i left out some info. The car was converted to a v8 with the font end having BBP and big ball joint as well. (i can only assume this was converted as well, without going to disc brakes yet). Being that it was a / 6 car originally, and came with drum...

The problem I have is that the previous owner started some form of conversion. Its BBP but originally a slant 6 car with a v8 conversion when I bought it. My car is a 73 which came with disk from the factory. My local parts store had everything in stock for a 73 listing disc brakes. If I change...

According to advance auto parts, the part numbers list a "passenger" and "driver" side. However their computer also states that if the calipers are mounted on the rear side to reverse part numbers. So either way, the calipers will work on either side.

So if the control arms are essentially the same, then the only real difference would be the spindles between disk and drum? So in theory i can do my own disk conversion?

found it on ebay, problem solved.

Popped the gauge cluster out and everything came out very easily. The new linkage I'm installing already has the wiper shafts on it so Im swapping everything. My next dilemma is finding those foam rubber type washers that slide over the shaft and up to the cowl, I assume they prevent water...

Thanks divenut, the glove box is out too, so that should help i would imagine.

What are the chances I can install a complete wiper linkage without pulling the dash?
