I have an ignition switch that the connector was cut off and the wiring butchered. Which wire is the ignition side of the switch?

I’ve installed an MSD box and distributor( non hei) and have no spark. Is the mopar ignition controller necessary?

1970 Duster 7 1/4 differential, complete drum to drum, new shoes and hardware. It’s free if you’ll come get it. I will not ship! I live in the Charlotte NC area
