    Engine will not start

Also check for a neutral safety wire that runs from the transmission to the starter relay, bypass it to ground to troubleshoot it.

    ignition timing question 1972 400

Update..after taking the dart out and standing on the gas somewhere around 4000rpm it had a really bad high rpm miss. That quickly verified that my timing readings were wrong(too much mechanical) turns out my aging dial timing light has issues. I purchased a new digital timing light and a...

    Help ignition..here we go again,,,

This same problem for me turned out to be a bad pick up coil as well, so either proper voltage not getting to p.u.coil or its bad. To replicate, take a running mopar w/elect ign and unhook the p.u.coil wires, crank and let off key. Good luck

    Plastic Welding

If you go the plastic welder route, it usually works best if you can use pieces of the same material you are welding, low temp hot enough to just melt it, v grind cracks..go slow and fill from both sides if possible. Cooling the repair fast (if its welded properly) can make the plastic harder...

    My beater

Shortly after this picture was taken a storm came through with golf ball sized hail, luckily it was already back in the garage. Progress has been slow due to my recent knee surgery. The alignment is done, headliner and glass next.

    ignition timing question 1972 400

Ive been tuning my motor up, this is a stock 400 with a 270 duration Rv cam, 625 Carter carb headers, the distributor is an original electronic type. The first thing I checked was the rpm for all in timing, it wasn't all in untill over 4k. I took it apart and removed the heavy spring, its now...
