This same problem for me turned out to be a bad pick up coil as well, so either proper voltage not getting to p.u.coil or its bad. To replicate, take a running mopar w/elect ign and unhook the p.u.coil wires, crank and let off key. Good luck

If you go the plastic welder route, it usually works best if you can use pieces of the same material you are welding, low temp hot enough to just melt it, v grind cracks..go slow and fill from both sides if possible. Cooling the repair fast (if its welded properly) can make the plastic harder...

Greed, it would be expensive due to the metal fabrication required, and imo would not look as good as a 68/up rubber and stainless moulding which is the route im going with my 67. Either way good luck to you.

I have 2 speedometer assemblies, one is threaded and is worn out, the other takes a clip style end and is the one i need to use. This is a 67 dart, bb 727. Where can i find the right speedometer cable that attatches to the speedometer with a clip versus threads? Thanks for looking.
