    potential car purchase

I'd rather sleep in the dirt than the bed of a pickup. That's about the coldest place you could get in that situation. Raised, airflow under bed, no insulation, metal.. maybe with a -32 sleeping bag and an air pad under you, I guess. Making a living that required sleeping under the stars for...

    [Found!] 1967-76 A833 1-2 shift rod

Broke while driving last night. This car is nearly a daily driver for me (parked when wet). I’d love to get it back on the road quickly. Not really looking for the whole set; lots of sets of three for sale out there. Hoping someone has just the 1-2 Rod laying around.

Classic Mopar as a daily... Crazy idea?

I was just thinking yesterday. Just a rough estimate I have about $30k in my Duster and that thing was stripped to the uni-body and had a nut and bolt lt restoration. I’m including everything from tools I needed, registration, parts, … I have been driving it (usually on a daily basis) but it...

I wish it was closer craigslist finds

Word of mouth, make offer type deal. A local passed away and the daughter lives on the property. My Dad’s friend knows we like Mopars and knows the van people. I went and looked at it. Solid rust free undercarriage good body work on the van but door hinges sag but close. Under the hood is an LA...

The ship my uncle was stationed on at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941

I am sure I have posted this before but James C Webb was KIA onboard the USS Oklahoma. In fact, he was an Oklahoma native and from my area. A few years ago the government released his remains to the family after DNA analysis. They were given the opportunity to have him buried in any military...

    Mardi Gras King Cakes early

We just had a Cajun Christmas party the other night and had a Christmas King Cake that had a baby. I really miss my Coonass friends down there but have made several new friends in Oklahoma who are from Southern LA. On a side note: Best pastries in New Orleans belongs to Brocato’s. Prove me wrong!

    Raised white letters or blackwall

What are you talking about, black bumper? The air dam is similar to the Direct Connection air dam. It makes a noticeable difference above 55 mph. The bumper is tucked in about an inch.

Classic Mopar as a daily... Crazy idea?

Since we’re telling stories: I was hit IN the driver’s door of my 1998 GMC 1500 by a semi. I was wearing my seatbelt, which in itself was a miracle because I rarely wore one. I was concussed but no major injuries. An old Mopar would have been certain death. That doesn’t stop me from daily...

Turn signal switch, taillight not lighting up, no dash lights and more!

Myself and at least one other member just went through turn switch/brake light troubles. I replaced mine with a repop and it has been working fine for the last 3-4 months since.

Passon Performance issues, are these guys shipping?

Never had dealings with Passon but I hear others say that’s where he belongs.

    Interesting WW2 Submarine Movie Snafu

If the Frogmen were anything like they are now they could have had liberty to carry non-standard arms. In my days in Naval Special Warfare I always made friends with the armorers. A perk was being invited to special range days where the fun guns needed PM, sighted in, and basically just to have fun.
