  • I just wanted to jump in here and welcome you to the 66 plymouth early A-body club :-D
What model/make are you working on? I've just started on my 66-valiant also, If you're needing smaller parts I'd look for them on ebay, anytime I build an engine I hit ebay also, If you need larger interior or body parts I'd scan the local classifieds, can you get the western north carolina iwanna paper in charlotte? I've been looking thru it since I got my valiant, I didn't know a 66-valiant was as rare as it is before I got it..

I live in Bakersville, Mitchell county.. My rat-rod is a green 1963 chevy truck with a 1960 apachie quad headlite grille and wood bed.. I was building it for my dad, he's 76-year old and ill an impatient, so I named the truck "greenhornet"..
I'm sorry I dont mean to be a stalker, but what part of North Carolina are you in. I got a 67 Valiant. A few weeks ago I was driving around in my Valiant and I saw a rat rod truck, I stopped and talked to the guy that own it, he told me said that he built up in 3months(i think thats what he said) and had spent under $1k on the whole build up. I was just wondering if that guy is you are not. The rat is paint flat black also.. Thanks Jorge
