If you have buckets, AND the car does not yet have a floorhump; then the longtail is a natural.
I mounted my Mr.Gasket Bang! Shifter about 8" behind where it normally is, over to the left, and then raised it up about as high as it would go. This is where it "fell to hand" .
Then I fabricated new rods, and my own floor hump.
