well i discovered both lower rear mounts on my car have broken off threads...so of course the shock will slide on but no way to secure it...i did order a replacement parts and they were not a good fit for the shaft diameter to the shock..i did go to the junk yard and try and find a new set of...
i am getting the new parts installed and when i put the new housing and thermostat on the intake you can see the movement...yes there is a gasket

should i just put some black rtv on the housing side to keep it from moving?
so i removed the intake manifold off my 360 to install an edelbrock intake...took a pic today of the cam...wanted to know if anything jumps out at any of you since i have a view of it. This car is just gonna be a fun driver...not a track car...so what you all think of what you see?
getting a pic is not a issue but i know the center link i have is NOT like the pic you posted...the holes are over 45 degrees angled away ...not flat like your pic...so i need a centerlink from a 73+ that has the flat holes...no problem there..
i wish flip was that easy...i discovered the pitman from the 73 will not bolt to the gearbox...only the 72...so i dont think i can use a 72 pitman on the steering link from a 73-76 due to angles...i could be way wrong...i dont have a problem buy a dif center link
well i am deep into my new project and starting putting it all back together...when i bought my 73 dodge dart(made jan73) i discovered the steering was hitting the headers...you can see in the first pic that...well i discovered other issues like the motor mounts destroyed and engine wasnt even...
so a whole 185 HP...so what all would you all do to liven it up since i have it apart at the moment... i am only doing bolt ons at this point...not pulling the engine at this point...i have the following parts going on...just waiting for it all to come in
doug long tube headers
edelbrock...
