Oh yea, I see it now! Never got any traction on A Body breakdown.

I got the 8 3/4 clean and rust treated. Gear oil out. Now to clean the backing plates, paint springs and rear. Then jam it back in!

I did and they took me to a couple of **** sites!

So what I did was turn it upside down and tilted it up on one side till it ran out. I was thinking it would come out the vent hole but it came out the axle tube. I got a lot out, it didn't look to awful, but still stinks! I will let it sit tonight and then turn it over.

An idea guy! I can't imagine what my shop vac would smell like after that!

I am looking for an easy way to get the gear oil without a lot of effort. Anyone used a pump or some suction device to get most of it out? Mine looks to be in good shape, just being lazy and not wanting to make any extra work for me.

Getting the 8 3/4 ready. I pulled the axles and backing plates. I was worried that there was rust inside the rear. Everything came out looking great.

29 pound flywheel. Installed a lighter crank when I refreshed the engine a couple years ago.

I enjoyed my wagon. It was a little small for me. I should have made it into a 2 door wagon.
