    Cordless impact driver recommendation?

We've got the full line of Milwaukee stuff. 18V 1/2" impact and virtually every M12 tool they make. Never had a glitch out of any of 'em.

    exhaust coating options

I've done several sets with Performance Coatings in Jonesboro, GA. Fantastic & long lasting results. Less expensive than Jet Hot. They actually do header coatings for one of the big 3 header manufacturers. Performance Coatings 9768 Feagin Road, Jonesboro, GA 30236 (770) 478-2775

    [SOLD] 1967 Barracuda Hood

Still got this hood by chance? I know it's an older post, but wasn't marked sold.

    Barracuda spring sag in rear.

Adding an extra leaf is proably the quickest, easiest, & cheapest way to help lift a corner of a vehicle or prevent sag. Re-arching will help as well, but it's going to be unpredictably temporary depending on the condition of the springs. Try to find a set of springs off a similar car and take...

    How to cut aluminum plate?

If you use a skil saw or cutoff/chop saw with a carbide wood blade... get a very fine tooth blade and turn it around backwards. Chips won't be as big and the cutting not quite as violent. Take your time cutting and it'll do just fine. Sounds like you did well with the chop saw.

    Need leaf spring advice

Use the link that Lelo put up, find the spring you're looking for, click on the link and you'll find the SRI number. You can then buy from General Spring, or search that SRI number and find lots of suppliers. Maybe one near you to help save freight costs on your little 60 pound bundle of joy.

    Need leaf spring advice

I used to work in a spring shop. If you go online and search 78-705, you'll find lots of different suppliers for the stock replacement springs. 78-705 is the Spring Research Institute 'part number' for that particular leaf spring. The "SRI" is kinda the governing body over all leaf spring...

    Rear end drain plug

Definely go the magnetic drain plug route. Google, ebay, Amazon, they're available everywhere. Buy the one you like then get whatever female threaded piece you need and weld it to the rear. If you're going to get something with pipe thread, make sure that the female threaded bung is not cast...

    GM HEI mopar dizzy hybrid

I've always run the D.U.I. (Davis Unified Ignition) HEI's in my dirt cars. Had it on my engine builders distributor dyno and it never missed a beat up to 8k RPM. I've turned it to 8,300 one night in the dirt car and it never skipped a lick. I kept the distributor and LIVE Wires when I sold...

Fast Ratio Pitman and Idler Arm

I think what's being asked is, "will the steering 'Ackerman angle' be changed?" I have not measured one myself, but I believe that there's no way it cannot be changed. Your bump steer will probably change as well. Noticable on the street? Probably not much if at all. Anytime that you move...

    Confused newbee with a 273

Thanks for all the feedback & info. Going to go take a closer look at 'em tomorrow. He's asking $175 and they're ceramic coated with no dents or scrapes. Just wish I knew the brand and a part number.

    Confused newbee with a 273

Thanks for the welcome! Reckon what's up with Summit listing the same part numbers for both bodies? I thought that was odd too. They list Doug's D453 for both? As well as all the other brands... same part number for small blocks.
