    [SOLD] 1972 Dart 440-Indy

Not sure about rear end alterations since the car was built as is when I bought it. Tires are MT 275/50/R15. If there are some detail pictures or measurements (limited on tools for measuring) PM me and I will check them out.

about to pull the trigger on a scarebird kit

I had a lapse of memory there, sorry. The swedge issue I ran into was when trying to change out the studs for longer ones. Not fastened hub to drum.

about to pull the trigger on a scarebird kit

The hubs on mine were basically fastened into the drum using what's apparently called a swedge. So on scarebird kit you have to retain the hubs and discard the drum. Getting those apart was a pain for me but I didn't have many tools to work with

about to pull the trigger on a scarebird kit

OP..I had a difficult time getting the hubs separated from the drums on front with SBP. There is a tool called a swedge cutter to help but others have been able to cut and grind or press them out. The rest of the conversion went smoothly for me. I added a proportioning valve to my setup.

Tuning Question on Nozzle Size, Stall etc

I hate to admit this, but I've got no idea what the timing is right now. I'll do some research on that, figure it and then bump this thread when I know more. Thank you all for the input thus far!

Tuning Question on Nozzle Size, Stall etc

Hey guys, A couple of years back bought an already built 440 Dart. I don't think it has been lightened up much so I estimate 3300 - 3500 lb range. Parts that I know of: Indy EZ-1 Aluminum Heads Indy Dual Plane Intake 727 Trans with 3.55 Rear 10.5:1 Compression Holley 850 DP, electric fuel...

    Turn signal switch repair OEM

It is possible to disassemble the switch and clean it. I did this but only because I had ordered a new one and had nothing to lose at that point. Take care to not bend the plastic or break one of the canceling cams. Mine was for 72 Swinger but I believe that's probably the same deal.

    5x4" Hub Specs

Thank you and I certainly will. Ordering the Proportioning valve now. In regards to the hubs, if mine don't give me any problems I don't intend on having him make any new ones. If the need arises, get with me and I'll see about his prices. I know the RAM MAN had them for $125 each, not...

    5x4" Hub Specs

Much appreciate the offer. I was able to borrow a hole saw from a neighbor to remove the material holding the studs in. Got the hubs out finally and they're on the car now with calipers bolted up. To the naked eye they appear to be true still but we'll see. Did you use an adjustable...
