Installing the classic dash for 1967 dodge dart

Just shaving a little bit of the sheet metal that held in the original cluster, not a big deal

Installing the classic dash for 1967 dodge dart

Yes I have, I'm pretty sure I just have to cut the metal where the original gauge cluster went in

So that is only for the 70s dart, the gauge clusters are quite different

Installing the classic dash for 1967 dodge dart

I don't have the ability to post pictures of my dash frame, but I know for a fact that it is not the rally frame. 1. They didn't introduce the rally gauges until 1968, I have a 67. And 2. I pulled the original sweep style cluster out myself.

Installing the classic dash for 1967 dodge dart

Thank you for your input, but I'm really looking for advice from people who have installed it, because it is not that straight forward. I thought it was also until I got it. I'm pretty sure you just have to cut some of the dash frame where the original cluster sits. I just wanted some...

    Auto to manual conversion

Ok but does the center console go where it goes on an automatic, because from the pictures that I've seen, the hole for the shifter is further back. So does it just use linkage to go from where the shifter is on the console to where the hole is in the floor?

    Auto to manual conversion

That's actually a really good idea to screw it down, so does that effect how the center console goes in as well?

    Auto to manual conversion

I was thinking of going to a 4 speed, but I'm trying to figure out if it's even feasible first.
