    Flywheel questions...

Servus Buschi :), mine is usually working ok, just couple times I have been grinding from 3th to 4th under WOT accelaration. Hard down shiftings, I try to use double clutching. With cold oils my box need some patience. I overhauled it with new syncros, thrust washer etc. And it was anyway very...

    Flywheel questions...

Sorry, I miss your question. Lower hole was ok, I just tilted upper part closer and made a new hole. There was enough material, but no specific boss for that. And the starter pocket "nose guide" needed some trimming inside the bell, if I remember right. Which is no problem, cause RAM MP starters...

    Flywheel questions...

Very good project you have indeed. Here in Europe the only good, and somehow available (thus expensive of course) option from Aisin trannies was that R154,but those start to be under the rock by now, very popular on drifting. Good to see how you proceed, best of luck to your project!

    Flywheel questions...

I am using same bellhousing but with R154 (Supra turbo) behind 5.7. Member Buschi have same combo in his 6.1. I bought a hemi 3G aftermarket flywheel 130 teeth from ebay, MP starter for 2005 5.7 RAM, then drilled and taped starter closer to the starter ring. Advance adapter clutch disc 10,5 with...

Voltage regulator upgrade? Keep frying voltage regulators with swap

130 amps. For 67Dart273, this was the fix that worked, after all fault finding, extra grounds for regulator and motor to body etc. and all new wires everywhere of course. And surely it blowed 2 regulators and one battery boiled. These chinese regulators pop right away when voltage goes too up...

Voltage regulator upgrade? Keep frying voltage regulators with swap

I had just similar problems, well first was easy, corroted connector in the main supply line to battery. But after that, maybe once a week it raised the voltage over 15volts and more. I solved it by making relay to the system, so the switched 12V which is normally coming from bulkhead and...

stand alone EFI for gen3 hemis

Thanks for answer Uhcoog1. Yeah, surely it looked quite sophisticated feature. I might go with MS in next project just to see how it ticks.

stand alone EFI for gen3 hemis

"2. The only acceleration enrichment option in FAST is a "accelerator pump" type enrichment; MS3 (and MS2) also has a model based acceleration enrichment that is a bit more sophisticated. This generally has very little effect on a drag car; it's more useful on a road racer." I am not...

    6.1 Valve spring failure

Same here, just small pipe and some metal pieces and bolts.

    Hemi - 5speed - hydr clutch system

Looking very good! Nice to see that you could use the Dakota bracket as a base. How is your pedal feel now compared to the old system? I have same size master, but with that Supra slave. It´s piston is quite small, so pedal is bit hard but still ok. Hopely you have nice weather coming to...

Engine fired up first time...but electrical help needed

Just use new "jump" wires and some common wire terminals and wire the alternator like the Joe Dokes pic, be sure regulator is on good ground and finger-thick cable :) directly to battery plus from alt output. +12V to other field and regulator you can take also directly from the battery for now...

Engine fired up first time...but electrical help needed

Check also the connector of voltage regulator, specially if that is 40+ years old. The brass/copper plugs can loose the tension and the wires can be broken inside the rubber, making the charging voltage raising too much. I made also extra ground cable from regulator to engine via car body. And...

    Hemi - 5speed - hydr clutch system

Hi, Yes, I noticed that aluminium AX15 slave topic. Looked like nice piece to go and without any hassle. Rockauto sells Supra cylinder maybe 20-30USD but of course for us the shipping is same or more over it :(

FAST XFI XIM Harness. must be wrong!!

To my 2005 5,7 only connector which didn´t fit was H2O. But I switch the pigtail from old loom. In the kit there was still GM H2O sensor, but different threads comparing to Mopar. I think there have been some sensor changes in production line of hemis, and FAST didnt reconaise this... Hopely...

FAST XFI XIM Harness. must be wrong!!

Still those throttle body connectors are for GM sensored throttle body, not for Mopar...Seller supposed to tell you that.
