I have a Carter 2 bbl carb #14-143 on my 225. It has major problems. I was wondering if any 2 bbl carb will fit on the intake( Holley, Edelbrock). I can either fix this one or step to something better if it would work. Thanks.

How involved and expensive is it to convert my 225 slant six 74 Duster to disks. I'm just not happy with the drums at all.

Thanks guys...I think it's the starter. I get the click from the relay. Sometimes when it does catch, the starter motor just spins and grinds. Probably time for a new starter. Is the mini starter worth the extra $ ?

My 74 Duster is getting a problem when trying to start. I can turn the key and the gauge lights come on , but no starter. I can do this several times and finally the starter will kick in and turn the motor over. It is getting worse. What is my problem?

Thanks guys. The wiring looks pretty bad overall. It is a mess under the hood. I may go the new painless harness route. I've just never done a lot of vehicle wiring. Just how complicated would it be for a newbie?

I have a 74 Duster that I am starting to work on. My question is.....what parts cross over from other years? IE Will 70,71,72,73 parts fit my 74?

I have a 74 Duster that I want to drop a 440 into. I have a line on a motor and tranny. I need to know what a good price for a used 440 and trans would be. I'm new at this and have no idea.

I won't mind all the garage time.... with the car or my wife. I'm a lucky man...while I'm at work she's at home looking for parts on the internet. Life is GOOD!
