    I did the redrill the axles thing....I think I used studs for a early 80's GMC..slightly smaller than the mopar ones..There was enough meat and I also had the old holes filled in with a mig welder..To add strength......

    what "rake" do you like?

    My Dart has 225/60/15 on the front and 28X13.5X15 on the back..I liked the rake first..When you got on it she levelled out but I don't like the stance at rest...That is why I am trying to sell the back tires and go with a shorter tire.

    Shipping a 8-3/4 center

    I had this guy send me a set of 4.11 gears for my 741 cased 8 3/4..They were in a ring and pinion box..They came from Pennsylvania and were shipped here in Canada (Newfoundland) and the cost just for the gears abd box sent UPS was $39.00 US..Hope this helps

    Tire sizes

    If you have an engine that makes that much power you had better have one helluva tire under her butt....if you go the mini tub and spring relocation route well then you can use a 325 50 15 or 28 13.5 15 tire..I am using the 28" ET streets on a 15X10 cop car rim!..Fills the wheelwell...

    help selecting slip yoke

    Could be both Mine was a /6 and it had the small joint..I have a driveshaft out of a v8 car and it was the small one as well..Pick up both of the joints and bring the wrong one back..That is what I had to do the first time I replaced a joint

    driveshaft yoke and mating surface

    I have mini tubbed the Dart and have relocated the rear axle back 1" to accomodate the larger tires..Now I think that I do n't have enough mating surface on the tail shaft..I have a 904 and there is 3 1/4" of spline mated..Is this enough...Will it work...

    Are the tires cracked on both sides or just the outside of the tire..Is there any cracking in between the treads or just on the sidewall?

    I would have said that an eddy 600 is too small for the combination you have there..I would have gone with a 670 street avenger or 700 eddy......

    8.25" rear rebuild....thoughts???

    Look tell your buddy this...If you are not using slicks or a 12 inch tire the rear will last..If the tire is spinning and I am sure it wil..There is less stress than if you were using a sticky tire..I have been beating and I mean beating the loving crap out of a 8.25 in a Dakota (that I drag...
