    Stewart-Warner Gauge Wiring?

I appreciate all the great advice! It’s also good to know about the amp meter gauge. One of the diagrams I found online for an amp meter showed a wire coming off of the alternator going on one Post and the other Post going to the positive battery side. However, it also showed a ground wire...

    Performer 318/360 intake

My question is why do you have Edelbrock RPM heads on such a stock motor? Personally, I’d changed the cam, intake and carburetor to take advantage of the heads that you have.

    Stewart-Warner Gauge Wiring?

I bought a T-Bucket a few months ago that came with Stewart-Warner gauges. Problem is, none of the electrical was hooked up on the gauges and there are no markings indicating where the various sending unit, power and ground connect to on the back of the gauges. I tried doing a Internet search...

Need some opinions on where to go from here...

I had this happen on a small block Chevrolet. It was extremely obvious that the diaphragm had ruptured inside the fuel pump. I find it hard to believe that the carburetor could be running so rich that raw fuel would be dumping past the rings and the engine would still be running. You probably...

You said the oil reeks like fuel. Have you verified that the fuel pump isn’t leaking internally and putting fuel into your oil?

    Ticking 2007 5.7 Hemi

I used 5W-30 on all my 5.7 hemi’s that i’ve owned. It doesn’t seem to have any affect on the MDS system and I feel that offers a little bit better lubrication especially in hot weather. My SRT eight 392 called for a 40 weight for what it’s worth. The exhaust manifolds are definitely a problem...

    Valve Spring Installed Height

He knows his sh^t and is trying to figure out a compromise for me that will work with another smaller solid lifter cam that I recently bought from another member. I’m not going to sink a bunch of money into the J heads that were ready to go, minus the spring issue. He’s already told me that I...

    Get R Dun

I’ve looked into the rock auto mounts for 360 and I believe there the 318 style. If someone wants to verify they’re really 360 specific mounts I’ll buy a set in a hurry!

    Headman headers

$654.57  I guess I'm too cheap to shell out that kind of money for a set of headers, especially just painted. I've always run the Headman's or other lower line headers and never had an issue. Of course, my cars have always been at stock height and not lowered. I also keep an eye out for...

    Valve Spring Installed Height

I stopped by the machine shop yesterday and spoke with my machinist about the Crower 68405 spring being an option. I found them at Summit along with the specs. Unfortunately, they won't work either, coil bind being the issue with my particular setup. As I was leaving, he caught me and thought he...

    Valve Spring Installed Height

Not sure, as I took the heads to my machinist. I think he was doing a dimensional stack up to come up with required installed height of 1.800 using my desired cam lift.
