Hello.... Not sure where to start so I'll just list what I have! Mopar 360 LA with Edelbrock Super Victor EFI intake that is controlled by megasquirt (not included). Built this last year and ran it in my jeep wrangler. Its less then 500 miles. I ran a turbo with a 7 psi wastegate spring. It...

Water pump pulley ratio high RPM offroad

Timing is decent... not the best, not the worst. I also need to add more fuel to run more rich to aid in cooling. Rite now I'm around 12:1 at 7 psi. Need to bring that down to around 10.5. The water pump has a plate on the impellers. I could jack the rear of the hood up...but I would imagine...

Oh yeah, I am not a underdrive pulley believer at all! Great comments though. I will switch over to a normal style radiator to keep the flow up. Thanks all! Will try and remember to post a follow up when summer hits and I get to test it out.

Very good points!!!! I had this issue before I went turbo....however I do make more power now so the issue is the same or worse. I found a nice griffen radiator on their web site that I could probably make fit. I just don't want to ruin the factory grill look.....but I could get pretty crafty...

Water pump pulley ratio high RPM offroad

Mopar vs chevy / LS. Big tires Driving style lol. I'm pedal to the floor I'll swap out the radiators. And if issues still show, I'll look at pump pulley. I'd like to change the pulleys regardless due to the fact I don't need a 4 belt crank as I only use two belts. So maybe i'll get the 1:1...

Also, my radiator is a dual flow. I know there are some pros and cons to that. Any reason to go back to a normal flowing?

Ok thanks! I will look into them. I know there is a lot that goes into a radiator that I definitely overlook. Thanks for the help all!

Water pump pulley ratio high RPM offroad

I don't...because trans will get hot lol lol. plus my stall is wrong, gearing is wrong...can't get into the RPM needed to climb. Never ending battle!!!! I think you hit the nail on the head stating the rad is toooooo small. I just was hoping for a simple easy and quick fix :( But, I might as...

Guess I'll pull it into the garage this winter and start cutting and welding. Just crazy that every other V8 swap wrangler never has cooling issues.

I do plan on doing that. I do not run the built in tranny cooler on the rad. I do have a remote cooler for the trans with a fan... problem is...where do i put it!? If this was a car, this would be easy. But I go through mud/water/sand/dirt. I was at drummond island in October and I had my 42"...
