Guys...
That is a newer tire....Those are not sidewall cracks.M/T Drag radials have that surface look to them some times.
MDEROY340 I have seen and used Drag Radials do that.Me personally I would use it.Unless it was bought brand new then for what its worth I would exchange the one tire.If you...
I didnt know there was a part # on them?Ive had them before and never noticed? The trunk emblem has 2 pins, the hood is very similiar and has 3 pins.
Here is a pic of both front and back and I dont see a part #..
245 fits perfect, I always like the "tough" look with bigger tires tucked up the wheelwells especially with the hubcap theme. And a little taller to kill some gear[Im Running 3.91 and have to get on the hiway to get anywhere.
I would love to find some 255 Radial ta's to try before I buy.
I never did recheck my backspacing after getting the centres moved out to make more backspacing, but Im gonna say they are roughly 4.75"-5" BS.
The 245/60/15 fit perfect!!!
Id even say I could sneak a 255/60/15 in there....
keep in mind,my car sits low.
Im gonna find a 255 and mount it and...
Not even sure what the application is for...
But I went with a Felpro ms953921
It fit great, and sealed up perfect.I always use a bead of silicon on the ends.
Interesting topic as I"m doing steelies this week for my 69 Swinger.
This thread is relative to the rear only...
Car has aftermarket axles[5x4.50]and drum brakes.
Cal Trac leaf springs and shocks-car does sit low on the rear..1/4 panel just above rim height.
Currently riding on 15x7 Welds...
Well I thought about it and I truly believe fuzzy down is correct....
However I don't like the look and I'm going shiny side down.
IM sure either way is a nice finishing touch to an under hood restoration.
Thanks guys!!
Wow,2 different answers..lol.
I believe fuzzy down is oem.but it would look better smooth side down.(fuzzy side up)
I well I'm still on the fence...anybody else wanna chime in.
I'm using fact style clips...btw
