Thanks all! I heard something about a washer being tacked somewhere on the V-8 K-Frames for the factory to quickly identify them during builds....Any truth to that?

An old friend called and is giving me a 73 or 74 (not sure which) Scamp as a donor car for mine....He's getting it as a package deal with a real clean 74 Dart he recently bought....He doesn't know much about the Scamp except that it has a 318....How do Identify the V-8 K Frame? Thanks!

Been a while since an update, so if anyone is interested, here's a quick update and a couple of questions: First, I found a local body guy here in NJ who turns out to be one of those hidden gems....He's a collision shop who happens to also do a few hot rods and muscle cars as well....Checked...

Thanks Jim.... The plastic sliders are there, but just hanging on by a thread....I think they'll be ok to re-use. I also heard that the wing window weather strip is non existent as a repop, so I'm glad I was careful with them.

OK....This is officially the furthest I've ever had a car torn down, and I just hope I can remember how to put the damn thing back together!

Did a Google search for RPM x 100 vintage tachometer, and found it. I thought the RPM x 100 was unique.
