Sources for Chrysler type wire terminals

sorry I don't have any part numbers...I just went to a local industrial electrical supply house and purchased a 6 way Metri-Pack connector then all the individual terminals and seals, it was like 12-14 dollars total IIRC. Be forewarned though, the 6 terminal connector won't fit thru the collar...

As another local Mopar guy to Corpus, I was wondering if I could buy some knowledge from you to put to use on my wife’s Duster with whatever your favorite drink is, or taco’s ;). PM me. -Patrick

Any benefit to cutting holes in hood underneath scoop?

That's about the best argument that could be made...I didn't even think of it from that perspective. I gotta do it now!

Any benefit to cutting holes in hood underneath scoop?

On my wife's 75 Duster 360, it's got a Dart Sport scoop. I keep thinking about buying some grommets and cutting holes in the hood, but then before I do something that's not easily un-done try and think what the upside would be. Do people with vented scoops ever see any realized upsides such as...

What are the rest of the late model (73 & Up) folks doing for radiators?

Just to clarify, I'm not having cooling issues with this car. It has a 180* high flow Thermostat that I installed when I put the intake on last year. I'm just looking forward knowing that upon visual inspection of the radiator, coupled with it's age, It's probably not going to be long before...

What are the rest of the late model (73 & Up) folks doing for radiators?

No issue with aluminum, just with Cold Case (they keep bragging about drop-in ready, no modification etc...) that wasn't my case with my 70 Coronet R/T. It's the only purchase for that car that I regret. I may pull it out and mock it up in the duster, if it fits, I'll buy the radiator for my...

What are the rest of the late model (73 & Up) folks doing for radiators?

I'm not sure what's different, but the late model ones like the 75 I posted a picture above, have 2 core radiators that are half the thickness of the earlier ones, but the fan clutch is still almost touching the radiator...something is different, I'm not sure what.

What are the rest of the late model (73 & Up) folks doing for radiators?

I've got a 75 Duster 360 that the OE radiator is looking like it's about ready to give up the ghost. I'd live to put a radiator such as this one sold by autocity1958 on ebay ( 1966-1972 Mopar B & E Body Aluminum 26" Radiator Road Runner Challenger Cuda | eBay ) But these cars came with these...

    Setting vacuum advance

I'm currently going thru this exact subject on my Mopar's. I started with the 74 440ci Ramcharger as it's only getting 6.6mpg, next I'll work on the Duster 360. I also started a thread on RamchargerCentral to document my steps and before/after mileage for tuning the timing/vacuum advance...

Continuing to track down source of no voltage to coil while cranking

and luckily, a previous owner had completely bypassed the seat belt interlock system, unfortunately they also removed the Automatic Transmission wiring from the car, so I have no reverse lights and have to ground the starter relay.

Continuing to track down source of no voltage to coil while cranking

FOUND IT! and I feel like such a dope, I read every reply to this thread twice, made some notes in my own FSM and even drew out the wire trace with a brown sharpie. I feel like a dope because I started in the engine bay and worked backwards checking continuity as suggested and didn't find an...

Continuing to track down source of no voltage to coil while cranking

3 of them, all of the parts that are always suggested to be replaced have been cross tested on a 74 Ramcharger.

Continuing to track down source of no voltage to coil while cranking

Car I'm working on is a 75 Duster 360. (5 wire ECU w/ Dual Ballast) It has an intermittent issue that'll cause it to crank and them immediately fire off when the key returns to the run position. Yesterday I replaced the ignition switch and hoped that it would solve it as it was the last...

Sources for Chrysler type wire terminals

Thanks....I guess I can either try the different dies (for the sake of not waiting around I ended up making the connection work with a regular terminal) or I can buy the real tool (which I more than likely will). Mattax, you're commitment and knowledge contribution to the topic of wiring...

Sources for Chrysler type wire terminals

So one of the terminals that there are only a few of on our mopar's are these double wire terminals. I recently re-did the dual ballast wiring on a 75 Duster 360 and that happens to be one of the spots these terminals are used. I do have some new double terminal terminals I've purchased, but...
