What happened with the transmission is, i blew the original in my dodge ram d-100, i swapped that transmission with my 89 dodge ramchargers, this transmission was about 4 inches shorter then the previous, after the swap The transmission was slipping, it has around 180k miles on it, so im geared...

I wanted to add that i have a complete running 440 and transmission to go with it at my disposal as well. how hard would it be too drop this engine into my 89 d-100 Ram

It would be less effective but it also means i still dont know how to work on my own vehicle and that hurts lol Ive replaced camshafts in my 69 blazer, i've done transmission swaps, I just feel it is important that i get too where if it breaks down I know what went wrong. :)

im doing the opposite a injection to carb conversion, so maybe if you want you may wanna look at my 89 stock two barrel TBI holley, i believe its a 600 cfm stock for those.

is it possible to mill out an aluminum plate to adapt a TBI intake to a carb? this would be like a spacer, except spacer bolts to exisiting intake holes. and carb bolts into spacer.

LMAO i did that once. i jumped my car off. i had a bad battery and was to broke to get new one. well i crossed jumper cables and smoke came up. MY radio got fried it was a nice one too. i even replaced the fuse, IT STILL DIDNT WORK! well i learned a lesson lol
