What I want to do is change timing cover to markings on lefthand side of car, I want aluminium water pump and not sure what to do about harmonic balancer but should be able to use just normal balancer shouldn't i , the one to suit the timing cover with marks on left hand side
I have a 318 fireball engine came out of a 1971 VG VIP valiant Australian assembled, but looking at engine the timing marks are on left hand side and moulded into timing cover so is there anyway I can change timing marks to righthand side , oh and why is mine on left side anyway:wack:

Yes I think electric is only way I can go, I plan to run 8-10psi boost, does electric fuel pump need to be lower than the tank? And what regulator do I need to match it? What size holley blow through carb will suit and will it work ok? I just want to get it up and running and change things later...
Hi, I'm new to forced induction and putting vortech v2 on 318 LA engine, what should I do to fuel system, fuel pump, fuel regulator and things etc, please help as I want to do as much as I can myself before starting engine
