    MOPAR Dead?

I have been a Mopar guy since I was 17. I loved the quality and the looks. The V/8s have been awesome. My driver is a '10 Sebring rag top that sits next to my '65 Barracuda. Now they're trying to stuff dangerous EVs at us. Do you realize how many EV fires that happen every day? I just watched a...

    MOPAR Dead?

I just watched a disturbing YouTube video about Stellantis and their takeover of Chrysler. For 2024 there are only 2 models. One of them is an Alfa Romeo minivan. No more Hemi-powered Chargers? Will this be the end of our favorite American car manufacturer? See: and

    early A-body Power steering

Take my advice and scrap the power steering or send your gear to one of the company's slant six dan recommends. I went through this horror for almost a year and finally installed a manual box. The car is harder to steer, at slow speed, but I can at least drive it.

    1965 Valiant LS Build

I've seen a lot of GM engines in Fords of all vintages but very few people would think of putting a GM engine in a MOPAR. That's almost sacrilegious! You deffinately think out of the box. At least it insn't a small block Chevy. Very nice welds and fab work. But why a GM?

    PowerSteering

Here's the update on my power steering troubles. Last week I removed the steering gear and power steering pump, boxed them, and hide them in the shed. I ordered a manual gear with pitman arm, a Steering Spline Adapter from eBay. When the parts arrived, the pitman arm had been cut off with a...

    Engine assembly lube

Many, many years ago when I worked for GMC Truck & Coach, GM had their own assembly lube that came with their cams. I have used STP and many other products including good old 30 weight, when building engines. I never had any problems with any of them. When I installed the Comp Cam in my...

Anybody receive seat covers from Legendary or Classic Industries lately?

Sadly, patience is a must when it comes to the correct seat covers. I ordered my Legendary rear seat upholstery kit from Year One on their eBay site back in 2018. They had it in stock. I ordered the front seat kit from Classic. It took over 9 months for it to be delivered. I couldn't find the...

    PowerSteering

No matter where I move the control valve it turns left. I just called Firm Feel and they tell me I have an internal problem in the gear box.

    PowerSteering

I loosened the valve and moved it back and forth. The wheels stay straight no matter what is done with the valve. I thought maybe the rebuilder left the spool spindle out so I removed the valve. The spool spindle is there! The hoses are clear. This car goes on the sale block!

    PowerSteering

The steering gear was rebuilt, all linkage, joints, and bushings in good condition. Steering wheel play has been adjusted. Upon starting the steering wheel doesn't move but when turning off the key, The wheel moves slightly towards the left.

    PowerSteering

I believe I have the powersteering pump problem corrected by adjusting the pressure. Now I have another problem. The car turns to the right normally but it takes half a turn of the steering wheel to get the car go left.

I just looked at Firm Feel's site and it appears they don't do pumps.

    PowerSteering

I have gone through so much hassle changing steering gears in and out that I''l sell the car before I do it again. The pumps I have recieved to replace the original are Saginaws even though the seller shows a pump like the original in their ad. There is quite a bit of hardware changing to...

    1965 barracuda wide body build

I agree Icetech. The '64/'65 grilles are totally awsome. With the lights on at night, the grille looks like a wild cat coming at you.
