Hey Daves69, Do you use loctite on the adjusting screws? It's just a cheap slanty clutch so I don't have a problem tacking the bolts once adjusted either but I was just curious. josh

Yeah to be honest I never had to mess with pressure plate adjustment either. This is clutch number two for this car. So hopefully third ones the charm. Especially since I have some direction on checking it before i install it.

I did rebuild the carb before trying to start it. It had gummed up and needed tore down and rebuilt. It ran so poorly i put a new eddy 600 carb on it. It kept stalling here i figured out the mechanical advance weights were sticking in the dizzy. So i Tore the dizzy apart which had light weight...

yeah I like the simplicity too. We'll see If I find a blow through carb in the meantime things may change. I'd really like to run two turbo's just for some cool dual exhaust action! Plus I have these two tiny turbo's that in a pair would be perfect for a low rpm low boost slant. [/IMG]
