This is a street car no accessories just the altenator I going to try it without a shroud and I will have to adjust the fan spacers. I didn't have any pulleys with the motor. I have a single groove pulley that is 6 1/2 inches across and a single groove water pump pulley that measures 6 7/8...
I have a 414 small block and plan on buying a champion radiator. Not sure what pulley set up I should use so am I am thinking of buying a CVF pulley kit. Has anyone used this setup?
I switched from a 727 to a 904. The car picked up 3 tenths. I used grinner valve body and the tranny was a 1974. I was told to use '72, '73, or '74 transmission. The only problem I had in 10 years is that I broke the oil pump cogs at the finish line which happens to 727 and 904's occasionally...

the bump steer can cause this change. i have 0 camber and 6 degrees of caster the toe stays the same from ride height to 4 inch up, i put adjustable heim joints on each end of the tie rods to correct alot of bump steer
