It's that flexible piece of pseudo-chrome plated plastic that locks into the bottom of the windshield.
Anyone who has some to spare or knows of a source?

Java,
Sorry buddy I didn't get that email in time. I ordered one from Mitchell's.

Thanks for the tips guys.

Back on it fellas!
Frank's (Mitchell Motors) was/is a totally different piece that was already on the Dart, plain as day it doesn't fit.
S**T!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a pic of the original, factory stuff , and the stuff Year One sells. This is the stuff you want...

I have it on my car.

65 Val: THANKS for the visual! I was able to figure it out just from your pix.

Again, thanks!

By looking at 65Val's picture, I bet you could get the repro to fit by trimming off the flange on the right side of his picture. I;m fairly sure the center flange is the one that retains the strip to the gasket, and the other one is for cosmetics. Can anyone confirm this either way?
BTW, I need one for the rear window of my 90 Dodge Power Ram truck if anyone knows a source.

George

Why would you do that? No need to "reinvent the wheel" here...it fits the 'vert window gasket just as it comes. Its made for this application, and fits fine, as it comes.

Because I was under the impression that the repro part didn't fit based on your picture.
Sorry.

Nope. Both flanges are needed to secure the lockstrip. The YearOne part shown in my pic fits the correct convertible w/s gasket just as it comes. The generic, off-the-roll crap thats sold on EBay and such does not fit the convertible w/s gasket.
