Yesterday was opening day of the archery hunt in Idaho. I was camping at 9,000' with nothing more than my 3 season bivy tent and a 40 degree bag. I amost froze to death. LOL. Here are some pics to prove it.

After my 6 mile hike out this afternoon I am now home dry and warm until friday. I am hoping for better weather.

I love Utah, I was just up in Scipio with family who lives there. We camped for 3 days and had a really good time. Much better weather this time of year than Phoenix AZ has...

Al Gore says this cannot be true.

I would much rather have been were you were than where I am. I have not slept for over 36 hours. It is just to hot for me. We don't have A/C around here so when the red stuff in that guage hits 100, we suffer. On a lighter note we are supposed to get a hurricane this weekend. Can't win.

Don't worry- that hurricane will have to spend the day before it gets to you chewing up the Maine coast.. all that Massachusetts-owned beachfront property oughta satisfy it. If not, a platoon of amateur Maine humorist-historians (anybody over 25, in other words) will hop in our rusty '78 Suburbans, drive into the eye of the storm, and break it's spirit with a rambling monologue: "Ya call yahsef a stawm? Hurricane of nineteen an' thutty-ayt, now thut was a STAWM, bigawd!"
