73 360 question?

Hi i have a 1973 360 with 48,000 miles to go in my 76 duster, car is going plum crazy just wondering what color the engine should go ?Also wondering what type of 4 barel dome/carb to go with?

*I Think* the color isBlue, not a 100% on that.

I don't understand "Dome", but as far as a carb goes, the OE T-Q is preety good.

If you do not have a carb for it, a 600 - 650 cfm carb will do fine. Your carb can be a Holley or carter. Each are fine for street duty. I like the Carters myself for street duty rides. Jet'em, set'em forget'em.
AFB are 600 cfm, the AVS style is 650 cfm.
Holleys come in many styles. A basic 1850 (600 cfm) would work fine, a street Avenger @ 670 cfm would be great as well.
 
The engine's correct color is blue and the correct dome would be a Hemi orange dual snorkel of some sort.
 
ahhhhh... a dome is the air cleaner... didn't know that..

My engine was blue and I hated it. Its like wearing a leather jacket with spandex biker shorts.

I say Black out the engine bay and go Plum crazy on the motor also!! My Duster is the Sublime FJ5 green w/ black out bay, FJ5 green motor color!! Looks bitchen..... Its the ninja Turtles Machine!! A lot of good Compliments also!

A dome is an intake,I thought this was universal slang?We call air cleaners breathers.
 
360's did not come in A-Bodies until 1974.
73 340s were blue..

I HATE blue engines in a yellow car with an orange air cleaner.
