Hi, just got my first MOPAR, a 67 Barracuda Fastback, which seem to be quite rare here in the UK, swapped it with my 76 corvette. Very happy, very cool cars. How many 67 fastbacks are still around?

All the best Gary

Thanks, it has a rebuild 318, is this OK. Would like a bigger engine at some point, but for now so happy. Need to fit some weatherstripping into the windows. I just bought a kit which has the clips on. Do they just clip on?
Thanks Gary

Nice 67. Right hand drive Barracudas were assembled and sold new in the UK alongside Australian Valiants. The Rootes Group factory (where Sunbeams, Hillmans, and Humbers were built) is where they were assembled. I'm sure they were rare when new over there too. Did yours come from the US, or does it look like it was an export model? Late 60's Barracudas were also sold new in Belguim, Germany, France and Switzerland.

Originally purchased from Ohio, in 67 and shipped to the UK in 69 by the owner who was in the RAF stationed in the USA. Still have the original bill of sale.

nice fish!, not sure how many are left, we need a registry, I still have mine. enjoy your new a-body,have fun!

Welcome aboard!! x2 Tony Fields stated above, nice to have another '67 fastback on board!! Great looking Barracuda you have!

Thanks, it's good to have something different. Everyone here owns Mustangs. Cuda's are way cooler!!!!!

Hi, need to fit some new weatherstripping into the windows, the bit where the window winds down. I have a new kit of eight pieces - do they just snap onto place with the attached clips.
Thanks Gary

Egad ! A black engine bay like a chebby ! Kidding aside, great looking fish..with the gas prices as they are, I am always surprised to see american muscle over there. When we were honeymooning in Portugal in '87..we were paying 1.15 a litre and I think gas was even more in your neighborhood..

What size rim / tires are you running and have you moved your springs or minitubbed ?

Petrol not good here, costs about eight dollars for every 12 miles! My corvette only did 8 miles to the gallon.

Fronts are 5 1/2 x 15
Rear 10 x 15

Don't know about the spring but the suspension has been stiffened all round and the back arches look like they have been rolled.

Question - what's a chebby?

Cheers Gary
