This is probably the WRONG forum to post this car for sale, but I've been trying to move it for a while and I figured it couldn't hurt. I hate to sell it, but I have a Barracuda to build. :D Check it out and please refrain from stoning me to death in the street for owning a blue oval. I love most all American 2 door V8 cars...

Up for sale is my 1999 Mustang GT, Rio Red, 5 Speed, Parchment interior, 58k original miles. The car has front and rear bumpers, side skirts, trunk lid and spoiler, and side scoops off of a 2004 Cobra, and a '99 Cobra hood, painted and installed a month or two ago. The "COBRA" lettering is shaved off the rear bumper so no one can give you grief about it being "just a GT." I just spent $3k on the body panels and the paint and body work, and another $2k on fixing every mechanical issue and getting the car to pass NY inspection. I'm asking $9000 firm. This car is gorgeous, and CLEAN, as you'll see in the pics.

Mods:
3:73s, 80mm MAF, Steeda underdrive pulleys, C&L Cold air intake, Bassani catted X pipe and catback, Pro 5.0 short throw shifter, Redline shift boots, shorty antenna, '04 Cobra steering wheel, smoked headlights, Mach 1 grille delete, Maximum Motorsports heavy duty lower control arms, Jamex lowering springs, 17x9" black FR500 wheels with new Hankook tires, mint Saddle leather rear seats out of a '96 Cobra, and more I can't remember. I have tan leather racing seats that go with the car if the buyer meets my asking price. The car is located in Huntington, NY.

PM or post in here if interested. Thanks for looking!

Pics: (These don't do the car justice at all. Come see it in person!)

I don't have interior shots, but the car is extremely clean on the inside. I'm crazy with keeping my cars clean.

Nice looking car - good luck with the sale!

Had an '83 GT 5.0 with a 5-speed for a few years and have to admit it was the most fun daily driver ever! 3 1/2" skinnies on the front and some monstrous 60s were a wicked combo in the rain. I'm grinnin and air shifting right now just thinking about it. :-D

Fine looking 'stang you've got there! Here's another bump for a quick sale.

Leanna, I had an '83 also, but it was a GLX vert (302 / 5 speed).

I'm actually kind of thinking about a '99 to '04 GT coupe for my next daily (current car has 180k), but it has to be bone stock, and in a more subdued color. Really nice car, though. Good luck.

Very nice car. I'm not moving this. No real reason to. These cars are the best bang for the buck in these modern times for a long time now.

Good luck with the sale.

Back up top. Holding out for a trade for a daily driveable Mopar, preferably a B body with a slant 6, but open to anything. Four doors welcome!

I have to admit that I have an 86 GT 5.0, fun car to drive. Yours is nice looking..you might try posting it to www.pamustangs.com, www.statecollegemustangs.com,...I caught some grief when I stopped by Leanna's in October with the car on the trailer. My trailer wheels have blue ovals on the center caps, and I was pulling it with a Ford..anyway, here's a bump for ya!

Nice stang there!

I had an '85 GT and it was the most lovable pice of junk I ever owned. The only quality piece of engineering on the thing was the 302 and by the time it died everything made noise except the horn.

Crap I miss that car. -LY

Nice ride they are a great bang for the buck. I had an 87 T top LX for my wife back in the 90's Now I'm running this vintage mustang a couple times a year at open track events. Vintage mustang sounds funny but hey its 20 years old now. Seems like yesterday I was talking my mom in to buying a brand new 1984 mustang 5.0 from the dealer when I was like 15. that was about the begining of the current muscle car war. Thats a long run, I'm wondering if we are on the tail end of it now?

Nice car you have for sale there!

Good luck with the sale, for my money nothing wrong with the blue oval. I have a 64 Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe that I just could not bring myself to putting a cage and stuff in, that is what led to the Dart....

Can't beat older Ford trucks, have had a F250, F150. The F150 I had, had 275 K on a 300 sixit and never had the head off it.

Yep;I like some fords,Have a 65 and 66 fastback.Had a 94 ford 350 diesel-not a fan-nice car hope you get your price
