67 window gasket

-
I have a good used one from a no post 2 door coupe. It will need a good cleaning.

Any ideas on where to find a front window gasket for the 67 dart with the push in plastic trim?

but if you find a decent used one, I was told if you soak it in citrus cleaner it will soften up and be reusable, so I've heard, I have a 67, but have 68 Gasket, but would like to find a correct 67 gasket.
Also can't find rear bumper pads, the ones under the tail lites, between
bumper and body.

I dont know where folks get the idea that these gaskets are supposed to soft and rubber band flexible. It is a spacer between glass and steel.
The factory service manual states check and correct any small bends in the fence before installing the gasket.
Cleaning the old hardened sealant from a used gasket is just as important.

Redfish I would definately be intrested. The guy who got both of mine ordered the wrong one for the front than left the adhesives and I never saw him again. So I found a very good set of the trim pieces and the screws but cant find anyone here who wants to do the drilling and install the trim. Maybe because its a one shot deal??? So I'm stuck with the glues and an incorrect gasket on the front. What do you want for the gasket? Thanks. Dean

If 25.00 shipped works for you send me a PM. BUT honestly , If I had the parts to install stainless reveal moldings that's what I would do.
Installing those clips isn't rocket science. You could do it.
I'm happy to help any way I can.

Thanks for pushing me over the edge:happy2: I have been pondering switching I do like the trim better and the gasket is already in. Thats the way Im going not really fond of the plastic:pukerigh:

here ya go
clip layout for the Dart should be the same.

Dizzdean...Kramer Automotive Specialties in Herman Pa has new gaskets for 120 bucks maybe...also check www.steelerubber.com..I just looked at them on there for our 69 fastback but they're more money. I have my original gaskets but yes, they're covered in 30-40 yrs of goop. Anybody know a good solution to getting them cleaned up or just buy new ones?....Thanks...John

I made myself some plastic tools for scraping down to the rubber. I use Gulf Charcoal Starter and lots of old rags. Anywhere between 4 hours and a 2 days to clean one gasket for reuse.

The windshield gaskets for the 67 Barracuda Notchback will work on the 67 Dart Hardtops. I contacted Year One and they sell them for $89 I think. Year One said they will work on the Darts.
